The action is heating up! A one-day tournament for 5-card Omaha lovers has just joined the lineup of events already underway. The Morning Turbo is in its final stage — the final table is in progress, and someone is about to walk away with over €3,000 earned in just a few hours. Late registration has also closed for the Main Event satellite, and with no shortage of participants, over 20 players will secure their spots in Day 1B — which is kicking off right now. Also battling in the satellite is a regular at our events and a proud representative of the women in the field — Wioleta Sekuła, pictured here. For the record, we’d like to note that the cash game action is, of course, running non-stop. We don’t want to flood the feed with just one player, but Wioleta Sekuła’s story in the satellite truly played out like a movie. Not only did she win a ticket to the Main Event, but toward the end of the tournament, she was down to just 0.5 big blind. But as we all know, satellites have their own rules — it doesn’t matter whether you finish with 1bb or 1000bb, the prize is the same. Still, winning with such a short stack makes the victory feel especially sweet. And as you can see, she’s also made some new poker friendships along the way — exactly what poker should be all about: fun, excitement, and good company.
